ABOUT RONAN MCGIVERN A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and an AITI Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA), Ronan joined RBK in 2012 and was appointed as a Partner in 2014. Ronan trained with PWC and was a Senior Manager in the Tax Department of PWC before joining Deloitte where he was a Tax Director. Ronan leads the taxation team in Dublin and has extensive experience advising clients on all areas of tax, particularly VAT. He has extensive experience advising on VAT on property transactions and in the context of International VAT Transactions from owner managed businesses to quoted multi-nationals. He also has substantial experience advising on structuring overseas property acquisitions for property developers / investors, structuring issues for Irish companies looking to expand overseas and multinationals locating in Ireland. Ronan is a Business and Legal Studies Graduate from University College Dublin and holds a Master of Accounting from Smurfit Business School. He also holds a Certificate in VAT from the Irish Tax Institute. Ronan lectures extensively for the Institute of Taxation.
